Surgery to Remove Savannah Boy’s Brain Tumor Successful

Surgery to Remove Savannah Boy’s Brain Tumor Successful
Family members of a Savannah boy said surgery to remove a rare brain tumor has been successful.
News 3 did a report last week about 6 year-old Trevor Parker. Family and friends threw a surprise birthday and send-off party for him Thursday before he and his parents went to Memphis for the surgery.
Doctors were able to remove the tumor during a long surgery Monday. They believe it is not cancer, but are awaiting test results to be certain.
Trevor’s family is facing mounting medical bills as a result of his illness. If you’d like to help, you can donate to the Trevor Parker Fund at any Sea Island Bank branch, or send an email to TrevorParkerFund@hotmail.com .
